Derwent Walk Country Park and Derwenthaugh Park – riverside walks and cycle rides, wetlands, woodlands, High Dam, Hollinside Manor, Nine Arches Viaduct.

Tyne Riverside Country Park, Prudhoe – picnic area, play area, riverside walks and cycle rides, toilets, The Spetchells.
