We love hosting live music at the Heritage Centre, and there’s no better way to enjoy the festive season than with great food, warming drinks and fantastic live music in our lovely Courtyard.
Join us for a festive afternoon of live entertainment with our merry music makers Urban Chorus. Wrap up warm, soak up the Christmas atmosphere and enjoy some brilliant local talent in our welcoming Courtyard. Seating will also be available indoors if you’d prefer to stay cosy.
About the choir
Gateshead-based choir Urban Chorus are a fun and friendly mixed-voice choir whose repertoire includes pop and rock from the 80s onwards, led by the exceptional Sharon Durant OBE. They’ll be bringing their fantastic energy and voices to the Heritage Centre for a wonderful afternoon of festive entertainment.
Our café will be open as usual, serving delicious breakfasts and lunches, along with home-baked scones, cakes, cookies and plenty more festive treats to tempt you. Grab a hot drink, find a cosy spot and enjoy the music while soaking up the Christmas spirit.
No need to book — just turn up and join us for a wonderful festive afternoon of live music, delicious food and Christmas cheer.
Please note seating in and around the Courtyard, including planters and benches is for our café customers. Please do not bring your own refreshments/picnics. All proceeds from our café and events goes to our charity Groundwork NE & Cumbria supporting local environmental and community projects.
