‘Within the Boggart Wood’, is the brainchild of archaeologist Tony Liddell and seeks to explore the North of England and the Scottish Borders’ rich and varied folklore, ghostlore, history and archaeology – gathering stories for Tony’s Northern Counties Paranormal Podcasts.

Part of the podcast is to recount real life encounters with the weird and wonderful. ‘Within the Boggart Wood’ will be at the Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre to collect your stories, should you choose to share them!

Tony will come armed with recording equipment and a notebook. If you’d prefer your story to be read out by Tony on the podcast, or if you’d like your tale to be recorded between you and a microphone, either way is fine.

The collected tales will also hopefully form the basis of a further event later in the year at the Heritage Centre.
