Join the volunteer team at Priestfield Wood, thinning small trees to improve the woodland habitat and discover this beautiful location. As it’s near Christmas there will be a “Sausage Sizzle” too at lunchtime, sausages and cooking facilities will be provided to cook your own, please bring accompaniments join in the festive celebration. Please let Peter know if you will be going so he can make sure there are enough sausages to sizzle!

All tools, equipment and gloves will be provided as well as tea and coffee; please wear stout footwear and suitable clothing for outdoors and bring a packed lunch and a drink. You may wish to bring waterproofs, hat or sun cream, depending on the weather on the day.

Come along and learn new skills, make friends and have fun whilst carrying out a programme of practical woodland and access tasks.
