Join us at the Heritage Centre for an entertaining evening of fantastic live music and fresh wood-fired pizza on the last Friday of every month. This month’s will be on Friday 30th September 6pm – 9pm

At the end of the month, why not treat yourself to a delicious freshly made, wood-fired pizza from Lucca Pizza’s Vintage Trailer, which will be situated in the Courtyard area.  Plenty of indoor seating with the evening’s being a bit chilly.

Enjoy an evening of original acoustic folk music from Northern Roots – made up of Bill Elliott, Kevin Youldon and Katherine Raine.

Bill and Kevin are well known north east folk musicians and often perform at the Heritage Centre, they’re also part of the Cloth Cap Temperance Band. They’re joined by Katherine to form their new band Northern Roots. Katherine is a primary school Teacher, originally from Yorkshire and is a fine musician and a member of the ‘New Tyneside Orchestra’.

Alcoholic drinks (along with non alcoholic drinks) and sweet treats will be available to purchase from café shrub to enjoy alongside the pizza and music. No need to book, just turn up and for a great evening between 6pm – 9pm (last food order 8.30pm).
