Join us at the Heritage Centre for our regular evening of fantastic live music and delicious food – on the last Friday of every month. This month’s will be on Friday 25th February 6pm – 9pm with live music by local singer Bryn Haswell (see more details below).

Our normal offering of wood fired pizza is on hold for a month while Lucca Pizza take a short break (don’t worry they’re back again next month) – instead our café chef will be cooking up a menu to include pie and chips, sausage rolls, delicious quiche and tasty chicken tikka masala soup and carrot and coriander soup, along with our normal sweet treats.

Alcoholic drinks (along with non alcoholic drinks) will be available to purchase from café shrub to enjoy with your food. No need to book, just turn up and for a great evening between 6pm – 9pm (last food order 8.30pm).

A bit more about this month’s musician Bryn Haswell:

Bryn has been singing for 13 years, performing on streets and venues all over the North East. He first started as a busker on Market Place in Durham, entertaining passers by in the square.

He has a unique operatic voice and an impressive vocal range he can apply to a variety of genres, ranging from classical to rock.

Bryn has been featured on numerous local radio stations and raised over £6000 for charity through concerts and a single for CHUF.

Musical theatre is a particular passion, with songs from Les Miserable and Jekyll & Hyde regular featuring on his set lists.

With a diverse repertoire, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.
