Land of Oak & Iron are excited to welcome the Whitehall Concert Band to the Heritage Centre.

The Whitehall Concert Band has its roots in the now defunct Sage Silver Programme. After the pandemic the band became an independent group and moved to rehearse in the Whitehall Road Methodist Church Hall in Gateshead. They now have 30 members, but are keen to grow further – so if you play any wind instrument, at any level, please come along to hear them perform, have a chat and find out how you can join them. You will be made very welcome by this friendly and ambitious band.

Come along to the Heritage Centre on Saturday 2nd September, between 1pm – 3pm to hear some fantastic live music and find out more about the band.

The band will be performing outside under cover of the gazebo in the Courtyard. No need to book and free for our café customers.

Our café will be open for lunch and refreshments (polite notice our seating areas are for café customers – we have a lovely meadow area next to the Heritage Centre should you wish to bring a picnic).
