Find out how to deal with the personal impact of managing an increasing workload with ever decreasing resources, to get your message across and stay confident and optimistic in the day-to-day challenges ahead. Learn practical ways to build resilience and hold on to your vision when the going gets tough.
This one day workshop, led by the award winning charity Mortal Fools, is for anyone leading community groups or working in local charities in the Prudhoe area as staff, volunteer or a trustee. It is sponsored by Partnership Prudhoe Community Partnership.
We live in an increasingly fast-moving, busy and challenging world and human beings have not physically evolved at a pace to keep up. In this workshop, you will learn how to manage and reduce the chemicals induced by stress by putting into practice techniques used by actors for preparation and managing stage fright.
This workshop also explores ways to create low stress workplace environments and organisational cultures. By building resilience to the challenges of everyday work and life, we can also boost motivation, creativity and productivity in community work.
Cost: £25.00 with early bird discount down to £18 until 31st October.
To apply send your details to [email protected] describing in 100 words the challenges you are facing and in another 100 words what you hope to get out of the workshop. Closing date Monday 26th November.
