Love plants as much as we do? Then join us again in and around the Courtyard with like-minded people to swap, share and buy seeds, house plants, garden plants and related crafts.
Plant & Seed Swap: Taking part in the plant & seed swap is good fun. Simply come along with your plants and seeds (please label so everyone knows what they are) place on our swap table, then take a different plant in exchange. If you have any other plant related things you would like to swap then please bring those along too – it might be nice plant pots, gardening books, gardening tools etc.
Plant Sale: We will have some guest sellers here too, with a range of garden and house plants and plant related items.
There’s also a little seed planting activity for children and their families to get growing too.
It promises to be a friendly and sociable event for all – sharing plants and seeds, tips on caring for your plants, buying house and garden plants and pots, all while enjoying a cuppa, a spot of lunch and maybe a slice of home-baked cake too!
Oaklands Garden Centre will be here with a wide range of garden plants – they will also be hosting a Gardeners’ Question Time, 11.30am – 12pm for you to get answers to all your gardening and plant questions.
Quirk Hen will have a lovely range of garden inspired crafts including her beautiful mosaic bird boxes, dried flower hangings (all made with flowers grown in her garden) handmade gardener’s aprons and kneel pads and more.
Dunston Woodcraft with Yvonne and Ian, they will be bringing their hand-crafted wood items for the home and garden, along with some gift items and plants too.
Our café will be open for breakfast, lunch and refreshments (polite notice our seating areas are for café customers – we have a lovely meadow area next to the Heritage Centre should you wish to bring a picnic).
