Come and meet Sharon Dunwoodie of Glitterpig at the Heritage Centre for the next of our ‘Meet the Maker’ events.
“I am Sharon, I work from home in Whitley Bay where I curate artwork, design and print home accessories and gifts.
My business is built around the things I love and feel passionate about – I am very proud of my Whitley Bay and North East roots, so you will find art ranges celebrating many of the well known and loved North East landmarks alongside beach inspired items. The ‘Very Northern Art’ range covers locations from Whitley Bay and Tynemouth into Northumberland and beyond, each element is hand painted by an artist I commissioned, before I arrange them into various designs making them exclusive to Glitterpig You won’t find them anywhere else.
Other ranges include wildlife even the controversial seagull alongside some of my favourite Geordie dialect.
I have a passion for art and design from my previous life studying and working in fashion and design which along with and my two children , inspires most of my other ranges, there’s something for every occasion and my personalisation service means you can order a product bespoke to you making your gift extra special.”
