Come and meet Dave Hayward at the Heritage Centre for the next of our ‘Meet the Maker’ events.

Dave’s Soap Kitchen is a wonderful local business estabilished by Beth and Dave Hayward – husband and wife team.

“In 2020, Dave started experimenting with soap making in our kitchen at home and this is where our little business began.

The reason was due to sheer shock of how many additional chemicals are found in mainstream soap bars. As a family we were trying to lessen our waste and we both have sensitive skin. Dave’s background of being a Chef seemed akin to the recipe formulation process and for that reason, as well as due to us finding our ingredients from the ‘natural kitchen’ we chose to keep it in the name.

We have wondered about changing the ‘Dave’ part because nowadays it’s me, Beth, front facing our business most of the time. But we can’t decide on a good enough alternative and it IS Dave’s Soap! The pondering continues…’’

Dave will be available to chat about Dave’s Soap Kitchen and you can buy beautiful smelling soaps directly from the him!
