Event Details

Land of Oak & Iron are hosting this new 4 week course on Saturdays 6th – 27th August.

Learn how to write and illustrate a children’s book by using your favourite art methods or by learning something new with children’s author and illustrator Monique Scott on this exciting new course.

Monique graduated from University of Sunderland with a BA HONS Degree in Illustration and Design and is now a self-published author and illustrator of ‘Two Little Mice’ and ‘Kiwi’s Pebble’. She will teach you how to create ideas for a children’s book, bringing the story to life using creative research, character design, story boards and colour pallets, to then producing your own children’s picture book which you could go on to self-publish.
