Join us at the Land of Oak & Iron for another of our popular fused glass workshops with local glass artist Natalie Yates from Northern Sky Design. Nat’s stunning work is on display and for sale in our shop area, her work is very popular and regularly sells out!
Nat will lead this sociable creative evening – helping you to create your own small piece of fused glass. Taking place in café shrub at the Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre, the space is a lovely, cosy place to be on an evening and you can enjoy a glass of wine and platter of nibbles while Nat shows you how to create your own unique glass artwork panel ready for firing in Nat’s kiln.
Tickets are £20 per person and includes a brief talk on fused glass, tuition, a glass shape of your choice to get creative with, glass of wine (or soft / hot drink) and a platter of nibbles to enjoy (no need to eat before the workshop).
There is the option to purchase additional glass shapes to work with at £7.50 each, along with drinks and other refreshments from café shrub.
The glass pieces will be carefully taken away by Nat to be fired in her kiln and ready for collection a week later.
