Chopwell Regeneration Group is offering two people a chance to do a four day bike mechanic qualification worth £450 for free. You need to live in Chopwell or Blackhall Mill, be aged 16-35 and out of work. You don’t need any bike skills or your own bike.

After 4 days you will receive a Velotech Gold qualification, recognised as the
industry standard. Training is by Recyke Y’Bike in Newcastle.

The training is over four days in July, Fridays 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th, from 10 am til 4 pm. Travel to and from Chopwell will be paid for by the Job Centre.
