Event Details

Learn how to identify small mammal footprints with expert Vivienne Kent, before heading out into the Wood on a voyage of discovery. Working in small groups you will use GPS points to gather clues, a bit like geocaching. Getting precise grid reference points is a useful tool which can be applied when out and about to record flowers, animals and birds as well as locating dormouse tubes. There will even be a small prize!

Please wear warm clothes and suitable footwear for walking in the Wood and bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Booking essential. Please email Peter Downes or call him on 07484 093411 if you would like to take part.
