Join a local walk leader to discover Whinfield coke ovens, the old railway tunnel at Victoria Garesfield and Strother Hills.  Learn about the industrial heritage of this area, maybe spot a red kite and find out about a volunteer project to scyth the meadows.

Meet at the end of the road on the industrial estate, ready to start at 10am, the walk is approximately 3  miles long, includes hills and stiles and may be muddy in places.

No booking necessary, just turn up at the start; please wear suitable clothes and footwear for the weather and bring a snack and a drink.
