We would like to say thank you to all those who have played a part in the Land of Oak & Iron since it began back in 2016.

This is a big year for the Land of Oak & Iron as we mark our 4th anniversary of the project.  We want to celebrate all that we have achieved in bringing new life into the history and heritage of the region for future generations to enjoy.

To celebrate, we are planning a special evening event on Friday 13 March at Blaydon Rugby Club.

Local musicians Bill Elliot, Kevin Youldon and Kiddar’s Luck will be playing live music along with The High Spen Blue Diamonds who will be performing traditional Rapper Sword Dancing.

Hot roast sandwiches will be served and you can purchase drinks at the bar.

A relaxed, social evening for Land of Oak & Iron friends, volunteers, local community, colleagues and their families to get together and celebrate the Land of Oak & Iron.
