Event Details

As part of Chinese New Year on Saturday 10th February, we are running a Chinese inspired paper craft. Join in the creative fun at the Heritage Centre and make your very own paper dragon!

This is a drop-in activity for families to take part in. All the materials will be provided for you to make your own dragon to take home.

Please pay what you feel to take part (suggested £1 per child) which helps us to run fun family activities for our visitors.

Drop by anytime between 10am – 3pm, no need to book this self-led activity

Café open for drinks, snacks, breakfast, lunch and sweet treats – seating both indoors and outdoors if it turns out to be a milder day with the weather.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

As always, we’re dog friendly, so no need to sit outside (all dogs on short leads inside and around the Heritage Centre please).

Polite notice – only refreshments/food bought in our café can be eaten in and around the Heritage Centre (including our benches and planting areas). If bringing your own food/picnic you are very welcome to use the field area just over the mound from the Heritage Centre or the benches around the park.
