Join calligraphy artist Chris Bowen for this fascinating workshop learning the art of Calligraphy.

Accomplished calligraphy artist Chris will be exhibiting his artworks at the Heritage Centre’s ‘Inside Out Gallery’ and will be running this workshop too.

This detailed workshop will include an introduction to Gothic lettering – characteristics, variations, tools etc. with demonstrations using brush, pens and pencils.  Along with an explanation of worksheet: proportions, weight and penstrokes.

Participants will be working with 2 pencils to produce/explore gothic letterforms, then have a go with brush or pen.
