It’s a great time of year to enjoy the delights of birdwatching, especially on a morning bird walk through the beautiful Derwent Valley.

Young birds have fledged the nest and adult birds are keeping busy supplying food for their hungry brood.

Join local ornithologist Michael Turner on the next of our regular guided bird walks through the beautiful Lower Derwent Valley and learn how to identify birds by sight and sound.

The walk will be on regular pathways with some slight gradients. Please bring binoculars if you have them and dress appropriately with stout footwear, waterproofs may be necessary depending on the weather.  Sorry, no dogs please.
