From Kites and Kestrels to Jays and Jackdaws, join us for this webinar to discover which birds you may find visiting and living in the Land of Oak & Iron.

The Land of Oak & Iron covers a 177 km2 area surrounding the Derwent Valley including Consett, Rowlands Gill, Prudhoe and Whickham.

In this webinar we will explore some of the birds that you may discover visiting your garden if you’re local, or while out on a walk in this beautiful countryside region.

This talk is suitable for people who have an interest in learning about the wildlife and nature living within the Land of Oak & Iron area, and is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

This event is free to residents of the Land of Oak & Iron area – see the map and book your place by following the link. Please enter your address in the ticket form. If you are not from the specified area but would like to attend, we request a donation for your ticket. The  minimum donation amount is £1.
