Land of Oak & Iron is the perfect place to take your 4 legged friends for a walk – our Heritage Centre is dog friendly and we even have a doggie treat menu too!
To celebrate our 4 legged visitor friends, we are organising an event especially for them (and their human folk).
Join us in and around the Courtyard for dog themed stalls and a fun dog show with different categories such dog with the waggiest tail, dog most like their owner, best dressed, rescue dog favourite, best in show and more! The dog show starts at 2pm.
We will also have some doggie themed stalls, including David’s Dog Deli, pet portrait artists Pastels by Mags Robinson and Sarah Gee Art, dog paw prints and ceramics with Scribble & Patch, Sam’s Place Pet Shop, dog fashions by The Girl Who Fell To Earth, Bryson’s Animal Rescue and The Dogs Trust.
Scribble & Patch will be taking bookings for your dog to get their paw print in clay – more details coming soon and a booking link.
ENTER THE DOG SHOW COMPETITION HERE Simply choose your category and pop in your details to book your place.
We would like you to confirm your place in person by 1pm on the day, so we’re sure we have all the dogs ready for the show starting at 2pm (if there’s any not confirmed by 1pm we will assume you’ve changed your mind and may release your place).
Limited places in each category available to book on the day.
It promises to be a very dog friendly and sociable event – we can’t wait to see you! (We ask that dogs are kept on their leads in and around the Heritage Centre).
Our café will be open for lunch and refreshments, including our dog treat menu (polite notice our seating areas are for café customers – we have a lovely meadow area next to the Heritage Centre should you wish to bring a picnic).
