Our heritage fairies have been busy putting together creative activity packs to spark your family’s imagination whilst they explore the beautiful outdoor spaces surrounding Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre.

We can provide café shrub picnics too – so you can walk, explore, create and eat in the great outdoors!

Your activity pack comes in a customisable cotton tote bag and provides materials so you can create your own curious clay face – you can add natural materials gathered on your family walk. There’s also a printed activity page and I-Spy nature page and other ideas for getting creative with natural materials.

You need to book a day and time slot to collect your activity packs and picnics. There will be 1 family bubble allowed per timed slot – this ensures that you will be the only family collecting at that time to enable social distancing.
