Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre Interpretation Strategy Commission

The Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre project is progressing well; we are now looking to appoint a suitable qualified consultant or organisation to design and develop an Interpretation Strategy for the interpretation and exhibition materials within the Heritage Centre. The strategy needs to take a participatory approach drawing on local people’s expertise to create high quality interpretation/exhibitions/art about the rich and exciting heritage of the Land of Oak & Iron. This should focus on the Derwenthaugh Country Park where the Centre will be located and the internationally significant heritage of Ambrose Crowley’s Iron Works. Please see loi-hc-intepretation-brief for full details.
