Inspire families this summer
Summer is here and it’s not long until the children finish school. We will be hosting craft making workshops during the summer holidays for children and their families and we need your help to deliver these.
Activities will be at the heritage centres at Winlaton Mill and Tyne Riverside Country Park, outside under our gazebo. If the weather isn’t so nice we’ll move indoors. There will also be activity trail sheets for families to use independently.
The sessions will run from 10.30am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 3.30pm with a well earned break in between if you stay all day. You can come along to help for one session or many, for all day or half a day. Ideally we would ask you to arrive a little earlier to help set up and stay afterwards to clear up. We will buy you a drink from the café as a thank you for your help.

No experience necessary – but a tolerance for noisy and excited children may be useful! This is a great opportunity to learn how to run a family focussed craft activity and gain experience which will look good on your CV. Or simply a chance to get involved, meet new people and have a go at the craft activities yourself.
