Greening the Derwent Valley Competition

Gardening and environmental enthusiasts are invited to enter their green spaces into a local contest.

The ‘Greening Derwent Valley’ competition encourages residents, community organisations, businesses and schools in the Durham part of the Derwent Valley to keep their area looking great by celebrating its most impressive floral displays, gardens, planters, allotments and wider environmental improvements.

The competition is free to enter. Individuals, allotment holders, schools, groups and businesses can enter into one of the six categories.
