Get crafty this summer
Escape the rain, get creative and make something to take home and treasure with our summer activities. This week more than 70 children and their families have got stuck in with clay, paint and natural materials.
Great fun was had by everyone, learning how to make traditional thumb pots by squishing their thumb into a ball of clay and moulding it into a small bowl. Leaf impressions were also made by rolling out a ball of clay with flowers and leaves on top. Flowers, leaves and other natural materials were used to decorate their items or they could paint them, before taking their treasures home.
Don’t worry if you missed these sessions, we have more throughout the holidays. Find out more.
