Donation received from Gateshead Wildlife Group

Last week Interim Partnership Manager Lisa Stephenson gave an informative talk to Gateshead Wildlife Group, about the Land of Oak & Iron (LOI) programme and projects within it. Also present was Kath Marshall-Ivens, the recently appointed Community Engagement Officer for LOI, who was listening and learning, as she will be delivering similar presentations in the future.

At the end of the presentation, Lisa and Kath were pleasantly surprised to be given a donation from the Group of £25 towards the LOI; this is the first donation of its kind to the Partnership and was gratefully received. The LOI programme has a value of £3.4 million, with £1.2 million to be secured as match funding, so every little helps towards reaching this target.

If your organisation would like to invite Kath to give a talk or presentation about the Land of Oak & Iron and the opportunities for getting involved please contact her on 01207 524883 or by email Presentation image
