Discover the variety of bird life around this area and find out who Thomas Robson was.

Local ornithologist Michael Turner will lead this guided walk highlighting the variety of birds that can be seen and heard in the lower Derwent Valley. As well as the famous red kites, you may see see buzzard, kingfisher, dipper, tree sparrow, grey wagtail and jay.

Michael will also give a fascinating account of the findings of local ornithologist and former Crowley employee Thomas Robson, 1812-1884.

Please bring binoculars if you have them and dress appropriately with stout footwear. No dogs please. There is a charge for this event.
