Event Details

A weekend of winter themed activities, with a selection of festive crafts, walks, workshops, music and cafe shrub food to enjoy.

This year’s Frost Fest will include Japanese origami mobiles, wood printing, snowflake cookie decorating, miniature willow trees and reindeers, winter robins bird walk and more.

Some activities are free, others have a charge and a couple must be pre-booked as spaces are limited.

Drop-in activities are listed below, please note times may be subject to change on the day.

Bookable walks and workshops are listed separately, including Winter Robins Walk, Trees Folklore Walk, Lantern and Origami Workshops.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY

10am-12pm Snowflake Cookie Decorating – the first 20 lottery ticket holders can do this activity for free, as part of The National Lottery’s ‘Thanks to you’ event.

10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm Wood Printing Cards

10am-12.30pm & 1pm-4pm Crafts

10am-12.30pm & 1.30pm-3.30pm Miniature Willow Reindeer & Tree Crafts

1pm-3.30pm Bird Feeders

SATURDAY 12.30pm-4pm Live music from Kiddar’s Luck

SUNDAY 12.30pm-4pm Live music from Hedgewitch

SUNDAY 4pm Lantern Parade, Christmas Tree Lights & Winlaton Mill Village Choir
