Event Details

Join Tyne Rivers Trust volunteers at Rowlands Gill for a day of Himalayan balsam bashing, helping to slow down the spread of this invasive, non-native species.

Meet in the main Stirling Lane car park at 10.30 am.  Please wear suitable clothing and footwear – balsam tends to grow alongside nettles so trousers and long sleeves, with good boots or wellies are advised.  Bring a packed lunch and a drink, all equipment and training will be provided.

Please contact Jenny to confirm your attendance and she will send more specific directions.
